I am the proud original owner of this Range Rover
built at Solihull on 18th June 1985

and powered by the traditional 3528cc V8 twin-carburettor engine

This photograph, taken at El Tojo in the Saja valley in the Picos mountains of northern Spain during August 1999, featured on the front cover of the Range Rover Register Newsletter issue 88 in January 2000

I took this photograph at Burton Dassett Country Park on 1st March 2010, during the Land Rover Owner International photoshoot for the Range Rover 40th Annivesary celebrations.
It was used as the cover photo on issue 161 of the Range Rover Owner & Enthusiast Magazine in March/April 2012

More recently, a younger sister has joined the stable.
This is a 2010 model year L320 Range Rover Sport, with a 2993 TDV6 twin turbo diesel engine. One of the three previous owners has changed the original radiator and side grills to black/silver ones, which suit the appearance of the car rather better.

This photograph was taken on 31st May 2019 at the Land Rover Legends Show at Bicester airfield.
It was used as the cover photo on issue 203 of the Range Rover Owner & Enthusiast Magazine in May/June 2019

As a member of the Range Rover Register, I am privileged to have been able to participate in a series of training courses held at the Land Rover Technical Academy. I take this opportunity to thank the Academy's instructors for the enthusiastic teaching which they have given me and the other Register members. I'd also like to thank Chris Elliott of the Range Rover Register for having made the arrangements for the courses.

The other pages of this part of my website show some of the things we have learned, in the hope that the information may prove useful to all.
